Jaynes Headshot 2023

Hi, I’m Naomi.

I believe great teaching shouldn’t require tech wizardry—just the right tools at the right time.

As an EdTech consultant and trainer, I help K-12 educators and district leaders implement technology that actually strengthens teaching and learning. With extensive experience spanning classroom teaching and district EdTech leadership, I’ve seen technology from every angle.

I specialize in Google Workspace implementation, AI tool integration (Gemini, NotebookLM), and practical automation that saves district leaders and teachers time without adding complexity.

What I Do:

EdTech Training & Consulting:

I partner with districts on technology implementation, professional development, and strategic planning. As a Google Certified Trainer and Educator, I make complex tech feel accessible and immediately useful.

District EdTech Leadership:

Currently serving as District Coordinator of Instructional Technology Integration for Owasso Public Schools, supporting district leaders and educators across all grade levels and content areas.

OKATE Leadership:

I serve as Vice President of the Oklahoma Association for Technology in Education (OKATE), helping shape the future of EdTech implementation across our state.

Newsletter Creator:

I’m launching Shift, a weekly EdTech newsletter delivering 3 tech strategies, 2 quick wins, and 1 challenge for K-12 educators who want to work smarter, not harder. First issue drops February 23, 2025.

My Approach:

Pedagogy first, tools second. Small shifts compound into transformative teaching wins.

Background:

My journey in education includes two decades as a secondary English teacher across public, independent, international, and virtual schools, followed by district-level EdTech leadership. This diverse experience—from individual classrooms to district-wide implementation—shapes my practical, pedagogy-first approach to educational technology.
